If your partner, relative, or friend is obsessed with technology, buying gifts can be a difficult task. Tech lovers are, by their nature, driven to pursue the latest technology has to offer. Anything less than the best will be received with a look of disdain – if you’re lucky. So, if you’re struggling to come up with some good ideas for your gadget-loving loved one, read on. There’s no point trying to score points off them by getting something you think is fresh and new – they will always know of something better. Is your tech-loving friend also a travel fiend If so, then why not get them a Sigmo? This started as a crowdfunding piece of kit and is reminiscent of the universal translator from Star Trek. You may not know what that means, but I guarantee whoever you give it to will. It’s a cool piece of work that translates 25 different languages – in real-time. So, the next time you head off somewhere where the locals are incomprehensible – Scotland, for example – then bring one of these.

Buy your tech-lover a pair of Beats or Monster headphones and they will choke with disgust. Instead, go for something like these Sennheiser Momentum Headphones. They look great, and, most importantly, sound far better than Beats ever could. Headphones like these don’t come around often, but when they do they will be around for a long time.
